On a clear day, you have a panoramic view over the city. The gentle rotation of the restaurant is appealing. We used the HOHO bus, blue line & spent 30 minutes viewing the city from the observation deck.

Compare to Berlin or Prague, tower might need interior refresh, but try Vienner schnitzel and you'll forget about oldschool design of tower.

I visited this place with my work colleagues and absolutely loved it. Food is great. Service is hood. Enjoy 360 view of Vienna 250 meters above the ground while you have your dinner. Spectacular! Worth a visit

I was lucky enough to visit the Donauturm Tower in the 1960s when it was just opened, on my return you could see how it had aged (sad) Saying that we still had stunning views over Vienna, we ate in the revolving restaurant which is priced mid range and the food typically Austrian, and spent a very pleasant hour taking... Travelled out of the city to experience this and had quite a walk from the train station. On arrival we didn't have to queue and were at the summit quickly. The day we visited it was quite misty so perhaps that is why I was not that impressed. We had a Vienna Pass so had not paid the entrance fee... More

Simply stunning. Had a meal in the rotating restaurant at night. The view over Vienna was amazing. The waiting staff were attentive and the food excellent. One drawback - the tower is a long way out of the city. It is possible to get the underground, but.......if travelling at night it is a long walk from the underground station to... More

If you are taking the red bus tour, this is definitely a place worth hopping off at. A high speed lift will take you up to the viewing gallery where you get a panoramic view of the whole city. Have a coffee and cake in the restaurant which turns slowly while you enjoy! If you are so minded, you can... More

I ate in the restaurant of the tower with my boyfriend. The rotation disturbed us just for a few minutes, the view was exciting and magic. Food was very good and the staff kind and smiling.
