The Kunsthaus Bregenz designed by the architect Peter Zumthor is a wonderful piece of architecture itself, notwithstanding the good shows that are usually installed. A must-visit for those interested in contemporary art and architecture.

it was good museum designed by architect Peter Zomthor, I like the architecture. And installation on top floor was quite beautiful. However, if you interested in seeing many art works it is not enough I guess.

When I heard this all glass+concrete building was built 20 years ago I was shocked: it looks like brand new. The design is amazing, something that has become a modern classic. It is the home of the Kunsthaus (House of the arts) and therefore there...More

Currently the artist Adrian Villar Rojas has an exhibition covering all 4 floors. Well worth a visit. An interesting concept stimulating thought and discussion. The museum has a café next to it for good food and drinks, so you can go out for a drink...More

Located in Peter Zumthor's famous building, the Kunstmuseum offers poetic and spatial exhibitions. The visitor is totally immersed in the art pieces. Great visit! Would definitely recommend!

We were so lucky to be in Bregenz whilst this exhibition was on, accompanied by two long films showing these used for a history of the crusades and the pillage of Contantinople. It was stunning and totally captivating.

Maybe I do not understand modern art but the visit was a a real disappointment. This museum (actually an exhibit space) is a nice peace of architecture but its huge space lets one feel lost. It is a bit "cold".

Created by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, this museum is among the greatest pieces of architecture the city has to offer. The ever changing exhibitions have already hosted high ranking artists such as Hirst, Lichtenstein, Richter, Weiwei and many more. It's an honor and definitely not...More

The lovely Peter Zumthor-designed Kunsthaus is a lovely space for art. The exhibition itself was lovely with those huge canvases of Joan Mitchell, the abstract expressionist who has been called an "artist's artist". I enjoyed the 20-minute interview from 1974 playing on a loop downstairs....More

This is a modern building which I don't have much appreciation form. It looks and feels like a bunker and there are a lot of steps to go up, so not for the weaker people. There is a lift however I don't know if it...More
