- DevonbeachbumPaignton, United Kingdom22 contributionsGreat attraction, well worth a visit.Great place with amazing views! I bet this place would be thumping with nearly 30,000 people in it. We had lunch in the Sky restaurant and the food was OK but that's not why were there. Caught the Sightseer bus to Panorama / Bergisel which is the nearest bus stop to the ski jump entrance. If you stop at Wilten on the bus routes you've then got an uphill walk from there. We were going to combine this with an afternoon trip to Igls on tram 6 and then up to Patscherkofel on the cable car but both were closed. This is included with the Innsbruck card which is a must.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 December 2023
- Emma W16 contributionsWorth the view!Great experience for the whole family. We went as a family (2 adults & 2 under 5) and all enjoyed the morning. The view is fabulous and an enjoyable walk over from town centre. Lunch was actually amazing, so yum considering I wasn’t expecting it to be that great or affordable but it turned out to be both! Would definitely come back to see the slope in action but we visited the week before the slope opened.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 January 2024
- RiShaLondon, United Kingdom540 contributionsA cool attraction!Came here recently as part of my time in Innsbruck. It's a little outside the city centre, but accessible by walk or tram. The ski jump is impressive, and hosts events during ski season, but this wasn't running when we visited. You can climb to the tower at the back, but be aware that it's a lot of steps to climb! Once in the tower, you can either visit the very top to get great photos of the city, or you can also go to the restaurant for food/drinks. A cool visit if you're in Innsbruck!Visited March 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 21 March 2024

Walked a long way from town to be met by a €10 charge up a funicular. Some of the misleDing tourist information describes the way up via a 'lift' and doesn't mention a charge. Up close it looks a bit shoddy.

We came as a couple with some mobility issues. Having taken the tram from the city we were left with a very strenuous walk uphill, we were aware 15 minute walk.. By the time we made it to museum and with no clear guidance even to the Bergesl ticket office we gave up. Both very tired and frustrated.

Very nice ski jump. Restaurant in the ski jump tower, observation deck above. Entry with the hotel's Welcome Card costs 9 euros. It's worth coming early as it's not that busy yet.

High over Innsbruck towers the Bergisel Ski Jump Tower with its top restaurant. The views overlooking the town are absolutely stunning and it helps to have the needs of food and drink looked after by very pleasant staff. Fortunately there is a lift (and stairs) so we didn‘t have to ski down and jump

Beautiful jump. We wanted to go for breakfast and see the early morning jumpers, but time ran out for us. We did visit but did not have breakfast or see any jumpers. Others in our group did. We thought we needed a reservation for breakfast according to brochures/internet - but apparently you don't. We did catch a late lunch at the restaurant at the bottom. Also - we would have gone by public transit - very easy. We just couldn't find out how to do it so we paid for the tour bus. Still a good value because we got to see the areas around.

A great visit to this ski jumping hill.
A small funicular takes you to the top of the departure tower and you then take an elevator. The view of the city is magnificent and the jump is dizzying. The only regret is not having attended training... There is none from October to January... Not to be missed all the same

The Bergisel ski jump is one of Innsbruck's landmarks. I've been here twice and it's always an experience! This time we had a very good tour from two ski jumpers. It was very informative and interesting. From the top you have a wonderful view of the whole of Innsbruck. Highly recommended!

We are staying in the altstadt now. How do we get to the Ski Jump, is it worth the trip?
Written 18 October 2017
Panoramic view of Innsbruck from top of Ski Jump in good weather. Just ask anyone to point you toward Bergisel! Easy to find and how to get there depends obviously on whether you are walking, going by public transport or have a car. The reviews on Trip Advisor will tell you all you need to know. Enjoy...

Hallo Hr. Pfeiffer, Waren Sie überhaupt in Innsbruck?

our tour includes choice of one of two leisurely walking tours: join a local guide as you discover the city’s history, culture and popular attractions including Maria Theresien Strasse, the Hofburg and the “Golden Roof"; or, you may embark on a tour focusing on Innsbruck’s unique architectural structures including its famous ski jump. and I don't know which one to choose from...

can you ark at the bergisel ski jump in july
Written 14 June 2016
Hi David not sure what you are asking 'ark' if you mean park, yes there is a very large car park. We used the Innsbruck cards hop on hop off bus service to get there and went to the top. Whilst in the location it is well worth visiting the Tirol panorama, or Paoram museum. There are stunning views and the 360 degree mural is amazing. Don't forget to pick up your free headphones which describe what you are seeing. Hope this helps you.
