Beautiful shops with unusual items. Loved the shop-signs in the street. It will take quite a bit of time to browse, so plan ahead for some time there.

it was pretty and charming but my only complaint is the stores weren't open in the evening. nothing past 5. I was also surprised at how uncrowded it was which was a positive. still worth a visit though.

Linzergasse was close to our hotel and has a lot of fine shops ranging from tourist tat to more upmarket clothing. There are also a lot of good restaurants on it or just off it. From our experience the resturants are cheaper and just as...More

This is a very pretty street that you can walk through while window shopping. You can just tell though that all the stores here are luxury brands. It's nice to just walk through though and take in the experience. The day I was here, it...More

It was fun to people-watch as we strolled through this section of Salzburg. It is certainly a shopper's paradise with something for everyone! There are also many cafes and restaurants, and we loved the cobblestone streets and the cleanliness of it all!

It was great to walk through all the walkways connecting this part of the city. Great selection of anything from kitch to food to drink. Some great sausages.

A long street of designer shops that leads down to the river Salzach. It has cafés, restaurants and shops that will satisfy any shopaholic!

Walking from our hotel to the Altstadt took us down Linzergasse - by choice. There is lots to see, hear, smell as you pass shops, cafes, bakeries and encounter lots of fellow pedestrians - all avoiding bikers! Very nice stroll.
