We had a brilliant bike ride accompanied by our exceedingly enthusiastic guide Ian (our Fräulein Maria for the day). A self-confessed Sound of Music 'geek', Ian was full of fascinating facts, which he shared in a really cheerful way. Having started at the very beginning...More

This is an absolute must! When our travel plans involved Salzburg and my wife insisted on a Sound of Music tour, I had nightmares about sitting on a bus with over 50 people singing along to the soundtrack! We found Fraulein Maria's and ended up...More

Our family of five included a 7yo on a bike and a 3yo in a trailer. We all had a wonderful time, even in the cold and rain. Kata was a knowledgeable and fun guide. Definitely a highlight of our time in Salzburg.

We can't recommend the Fraulein Maria bicycle tour enough. We loved it and it has become a highlight of our trip. We went as a family and our 7 and 9 year old girls did not complain a single time during their 3.5 hours cycling....More

This was a lovely way to see lots of places in Salzburg- whether you are a fan of the Sound of Music or not. Good value, at €30 adult price, and nicer than being on a bus! One or two hills but leisurely pace and...More

I’m sorry but I don’t know this Answer. The bikes have a basket & it’s easy enough to have a back pack on your back I would think (unless it’s huge). Also if you are staying at a hotel they might keep the luggage for you
