The city center with its old architectural buildings gives the feel of an old grand city with many stories to tell.. It is well connected by the tram service and has many shops and restaurants around it.

We stopped in Linz during a river cruise. The square was only about 3 blocks from the port/dock. Lots of shops, cafes, ATM and Tourist Info Center. Lots to see and do. Close to everything.

An okey space. Not really much to do there. Some restaurants around the square. I would recommend taking the Pöstlingbergbahn from here and to the end stop. It's really easy to recognize (like an old-fashioned tram), and it goes often. You can also hop off...More

As far as we know the ships dock close to the Hauptplatz. It is a few minutes walk from the docking area to the Hauptplatz. Leave the ship and turn right - you should see the Hauptplatz after a short walk.
