This was actually built by a Prince of Monaco to study the ocean. There are many fish preserved from the early 1900's along the walls. I purchased a combination ticket of the Palace Tour and this Museum. The total cost was 19 EUR for both....More

The kids really wanted to visit here so we did. Prices were high considering what you saw. Very very busy and adults were not considerate toward children wanting to see. Not much to look at although our children were happy and I'm glad it didn't...More

Visited this museum in Monaco which I fullheartedly recommend maybe especially when yoy bring kids. The best of all is that the entrance pay is not expensive compared to what you see.

Good range of fish species in a variety of tanks that seemed well maintained. Kind of sad to see a lone loggerhead turtle though.

Plan an entire day here to see the exhibits. Have lunch in the Oceanographic rooftop cafeteria. Remember to visit the gift shop. Videos come out clearly of the aquarium tanks.

Of course you could walk everywhere if you wish, but it's a long distance. You're better off taking the bus 1 or 2 until casino.
