The building that houses this aquarium is huge and beautiful, as are many of the buildings in Monaco. However, I was a little disappointed in the aquarium. The collection of fish was not as spectacular as I've seen in other places and the water seemed to have a slight cloudiness to it. I think it would be a great place... More

A building of importance and gorgeous from the moment you arrive. Easy to get to via the steps from the port or from the main shopping street. You may get the hop on tour as well. A good day out for all.

Cliffside aquarium. The basement floor is all aquariums, filled will hundreds of different species. The upper floors are all museum floors of the ocean etc. A Great place for the kids, but adults love it too!

This is an amazing museum in an absolutely amazing building, perched on the "rock of Monaco" overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The admission price is quite reasonable. The downstairs is a wonderful aquarium with all kinds of interesting sea creatures, including seahorses and giant turtles. One of the most fascinating things here are sea creatures that have been made from garbage... More

It's your standard aquarium - but the rooftop turtle exhibit is very cool. The kids loved watching all the turtles feast on fresh lettuce. The views from the roof are stunning. We also had a decent snack break here.

Fabulous. Simply fabulous. Amazing variety of fish. Even if, like me, fish is not your thing, you will be in awe

we only went because it was raining and a good thing to do to keep dry, but loved the museum. Jacques Custeau was director there for many years, and there's a display of the little yellow submarine from the special shows he did. Gorgeous building and fantastic view from the roof.

I absolutely loved this place. First of all, the building itself is incredible in terms of architecture, and the tanks were awesome. Aquariums are those sort of places you go on a city break when you run out of stuff to do, but I would call this a Must Do if you visit Monaco. Easily done, as it's in the... More
