Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to see the change of the guards at 12, Old Town Monaco. This market is at the foot of the hill and hence saw on the way up in a bus. Rushed back down to have lunch in a restaurant inside the market. Reasonable price and authentic Italian nocci pasta and salad. Unfortunately, when we came out after, the market stalls disappeared. Best to explore the market in the morning then go up to the Old Town.

We did the busy Costa boulangerie in a busy lunchtime market in the heart of Monaco. Fellow tourists absolutely must try the Barbagiuans (little pastry pockets with finely chopped chard, cheese, rice, egg and ham) and socca (crepe made from chickpea). Hungrier customers would be well suited to the generously stuffed baguettes.

We had lunch here. It is good spot for us commoners to grab lunch or snack. Prices are fairly normal here. There is a nice selection of foods inside the market building from multiple vendors. Socca, pizza, ravioli, beer & wine, pastries, and more. Seating is tight.
From here it is a short walk (up hill) to see the palace and the views. The 100 bus from Nice stops across the street from here when it comes into town. A good spot to get off and start your tour of Monaco.

There are a lot of places to sit and enjoy an espresso or coffee. The market has fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers We only needed 30 minutes to check out the area.

we came here for lunch on our port day of a cruise, and the food was amazing!! this is not like your La Boqueria, where there's a mix of cooked and fresh food - the indoor portion of the market only has cooked food offered, and in the square outside is where the fresh food presumably was - we came here early afternoon and was only able to catch the last of the flower stalls packing up. I would come back to try different foods from different stalls!

Definitely the most interesting place to eat during a trip to Monte Carlo: at the various freshly cooked food stalls you can really find quite a few different options depending on everyone's tastes and cravings. Prices are reasonable and service is consistent. The bathrooms can also be used with ease and practicality.
