There are 2 hikes you can take, we took the shorter one of about 30 minutes each way, but it took us way more than that because we had to absorb all the beauty of the place. We stayed there for about 2 hours or more, it's just that beautiful! The hike isn't too difficult but it is uphill and... More

Andorra is a place you must go if you are around. The lakes and mountains make a very beautiful scenario. Unique landscape. It's much colder than Barcelona, so it's better to take a coat with you

one of the busiest walks in Andorra on a summers day but out of season it is really pleasant with three lovely lakes. park at the top of the Arcalis ski station as far as the road takes you and there is a lift with a small bar often shut in front of you. the route traverses to the left.

It took us no more than 20 minutes from the chair-lift station to get to the plateau. The trail is suitable even for families with young children.

We just went up the trail, June 19th. At the top of the first hill, there was some snow on the ground - not a lot. We did not continue to the other lakes because we were not prepared for a long hike. The trail up is good, not really dangerous, but a bit slippery at times. I am no... More

We decided to go for the longer trail around lake Tristania which was fantastic with incredible views! The trail became more of a climb in a few places though so take your time, plenty of food and water too!

Plenty of parking (in September) at the end of the road beside restaurant. Short climb required to reach the lakes with a small stretch involving a scramble, (chain provided to help if required). Once in view of the view of the lakes, plenty of easy to follow paths to choose from. The walk can either be made easy or more... More

A nice hike to do in the morning or by the sunset, it'll be even more rewarding (and also not so hot). At some parts it's not very easy, so I won't recommend it to those who suffer from fear of heights or vertigo. Get some trekking shoes and sticks (they are very expensive in Ascalis), don't forget to take... More

We crossed the pass from France into Andorre and passed these lakes on our way down to El Serrat. These lakes are a great place to relax on a hot day and for the adventurous it's a great place for a swim. To make a circle from Arcalis it might take a good few hours but certainly worth it. All... A beautiful walk, fine for young children. I went with a family with children aged 3 and 6 years old and it was challenging at some parts but not impossible. The walk is then rewarded with amazing lakes to look at. We went in October and there was no snow, but it was still spectacular with all of the beautiful... More
