This church is a MUST VISIT place when you are in Paralimni. The caretaker will invite you inside and make you welcome, even if you are wearing shorts. He will give you a candle to light for your loved ones, whether or not you make a donation. The frescos are awesome and you can take photos inside the church.

Beautiful place. With two other smaller churches behind it. Plenty of shops to look for something nice. Have a drink in one of the bars or something to eat in one the restaurants

If you can, be sure to visit the older St. George church right next door. It has an amazing wall icon of St. George with a lot of history!

Beautiful church in a large square in Paralimni . Easy to find in the town centre. Take in the view from a bench by the church. Relax

Every wall and the ceiling was covered in beautiful religious images from the Bible that were painted so amazingly with stunning golden candelabras hanging from the ceilings. Absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Even if you weren't particularly religious, I would definitely... More

After a wonderful Pork Chop at Giannis with a glass or two, scent of the town and herbs and spices fill the air. Local families from far and wide stroll the town and around the churches old and new. Festivals and processions, teenage lovers walk and blush, grannies chatter and the men strut and smoke. Real cypriot evening.... maybe followed... More
