The museum is small but free entry and so interesting. It does give a real insight into the passion behind the Cypriot Independence movement. Griva's and Macarious fell out over the political result.

It was really nice to see the original boat, how it's still in one piece is amazing. The monument, we'll the sun on it is wonderful.

This was a beautiful location by the sea. The memorial and museum was well set out to remember an important event in Cyprus history.

the monument alone is worth a visit as you see the colours alter with the sun and from different angles - the statue is worth seeing also the museum was undergoing a refurb but having seen it in the past, again this is worth seeing
