A fun ramble and scramble in and out of the tombs. Kids would love this it would be great for hide and seek. For the historians there was not enought signs explaining the structures, how they came about or anything of note.

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect. There’s a rough map as you go in. Lots to see and explore. Would have liked more information on burial customs. Pleasant temperature in Feb, I imagine it’s very hot with little shade in the Summer.

It was amazing to stroll from our hotel and find ourselves among 2000 year old burial grounds and whilst the entry price was a bargain there were very limited facilities. There was basic signage to the artefacts and you can just climb on ancient ruins...More

I expected to be out of here In a couple of hours ! took three and half . So much preserved the tombs are a copy in many ways of the buildings that they lived in . Well worth a visit .

Great place to while away a couple of hours if you don't mind walking about on gravelly sandy soil. Not a lot of paths! Great history, great sights. We came in February so the weather was accommodating - you'd build up a sweat in the...More

Wear good shoes as there are rocky paths and many steps. Allow 2 hours to walk around the sites. Much history and displayed in English

Easy to get to. Cheap admission, ask for Seniors for a 1.25 ticket. Well excavated and preserved remains. Good range of different buildings. Give yourself a couple of hours to take it all in. All it lacks is a cafe!

Just been there today. There is free WiFi just as you step out from the ticket office. The signal was slightly weak. I lost the signal after I passed the first tomb.

Not at all necessary. The site wasn't very busy in April and,as usual,if you arrive early fewer people there.
