Over a 1,000 years old. Funny enough, the floor of the church was covered with carpets and 4 barefoot African or Carribean pastors were contemplating the future of our world. I didn't want to disturb them on a Good Friday but this conservative city seems to hide more progress than I ever could have imagined.

It's a small church and doesn't compare to some of Europe's old huge ones. But it is still very nice and only takes a few minutes to look at.

The black Mary statue makes this an interesting place to visit. The church was interesting and the sculptures were the highlight to me

Pretty little church and free to get in. Has a lovely cosy feel to it. Recommend walking in as you are in Luxembourg.

What a gorgeous little jewel of a church in the heart of Luxembourg's old town. It's the oldest church in the city. It's near the fish market and several museums and close to the Bock. I highly recommend stopping in to breath in the history and take a breath. A church was first built here in 987! The current building... More

We visited St Michel's Church on a Sunday and there was an on-going mass hence we opted not to take photos. We instead spent some moments inside although cannot finish the mass because of limited time. It is quite small so sound like baby crying can be heard inside the whole church, even the click of camera shutter.

Have seen so many church's and cathedrals that they are all running into each other. Nice smaller catholic church in the town of Luxembourg City with pretty stained glass windows. I don't remember anything unusual about this one. Nothing special. Don't go out of your way to see it.

Favored by the french speaking of the population, the church is perched at one of the steepest points on a tour of the city. Come at Easter time to pick up the little bird flutes sold outside. They are different each year. Families have collections of them.

We were drawn inside by the lovely bright sight of the church. Inside has some impressive art pieces. Worth a peek inside when you pass by.

This church is smaller than Notre Dame Cathedral, but it's arguably more private and thus even more suitable for people who just want to sit down and be with self.
