Large, nice park around an artificial lake. Swimming is forbidden but there a lot of others activities like kids playgrounds, trampolines, an ancient villa, minigolf and SUP or pedalo on the lake. Entrance is for free.

There have been a lot of changes around the lake, including some fun stuff for kids, the local youth hostel is also located at the lake. There's 3 restaurants around the lake, the Lakeside Restaurant, the "Grenge Schapp" and the Youth Hostel Cantine. A lot...More

A good place to go from Luxembourg. Only I wish there was a better restaurant there. The Youth hostel canteen there is very rudimentary

I grew up in Echternach and was as a child at the lake every weekend. Still now I love the lake. It's calm, it's fun, it's pleasure, it's relaxing. Only the chinese pavillons and bridges are missing, which were there when I was a child...More

Only half an hour from Luxembourg city, this beautiful man-made lake and park is a wonderful place to escape for a day out. Pretty walking paths wind round the edge of the lake. And we usually take a picnic lunch and find a good picnic...More

We spent a few happy hours wandering to and around this lake on a day trip to Echternach (via the Roman villa remains). I highly recommend it. It was summer and there were large swathes of wildflowers and sunflowers planted around the lake. Lots of...More
