We were on one of the last excursions for the year, in September, and were surprised at how close to the cliffs the boat approached, navigating through the sea arches despite fierce rain squalls and rocking seas. In such weather it may not be for...More

Booked as a Holland America shore excursion, the village of Vestmanna provided us a boat ride right up to the soaring cliffs and between numerous narrow gorges, weaving in and out of the cavernous cliffs. The 40'+/- boat was piloted as slowly as was possible...More

Although not so many birds in August, the sheer scale and size of these cliffs is just awesome, with the boat weaving gingerly between the massive seastacks. Very worth the trip!

I've read some people's reviews and how they rate this anything less than a 4 is mesmerizing to me. I rank it a 5 easily because of a few reasons: 1. The scenery was amazing. It was a sunny day. We drove the boat through...More

We had booked our trip far in advance, and due to strong winds the days before, we were afraid that the trip would be cancelled due to swells. We were offered to re-book, but when we found out that the trip would not be cancelled,...More
