One thing about Faroe Islands is that indications are not full and you have "to discover" the place every time. Like with this office, you will spend like 15 minutes looking for it....don't ask locals....they won't know either.

When I got there it was a huge line. Bad location and it was an art museum(?) The map I got for Tórshavn was very bad and little. They had not enough maps and it was hard to help myself. You should google instead!

A somewhat standard Information Centre for the passing tourist off a cruise ship but at least they provided a useful map of the area and allowed us to find the main shopping complex and some churches

We got good advices at the information centre. The staff is competent. What is negative with some of the attraction in the Faroes, is the capacity. I really wanted to go to Mykines, but the ferry was full. So we could not go there, any...More
