While it was raining we visited the Nordic House and assisted to a fantastic concert of Kata, a Faroe group of five women singing traditional songs. The concert was great and the building is a fine piece of modern architecture.

I attended a conference held at the Nordic House. As conference centers go, this one is comfortable and quite Scandinavian with modern furniture and a grass roof. A nice place for a meeting.

Very interesting and original architecture, with exciting utilisation of variuos materials from the Nordic region. Loved the grass roof, typical old Faroe islands thing. Throughout the years, the Nordic House has hosted thousands of events. Everything from rock concerts, to art exhibitions to interesting films...More

The Nordic house should be visited for a consert, or an exhibition. Or just to look at, and to have something to eat. Both interior and exterior, the building is impressing. Seen from outside, it fits perfectly into the Faroese landscape; with glass, stones and...More

Having just attended a three-days conference held in this beautiful place I have to say it would be nice if we had more places like this one all over Europe. Their eco-friendly approach, the way the whole place is built, furnished and equipped is just...More
