Really great example of how Maltese style of buildings can look. Really stunning mix of colours and ornate style.

This is now the Prime Ministers residence and we walked around it from the outside. The building is well maintained and worth a stroll by since it is very near the entrance to Valletta, which is the access point. Note the cannons outside.

The building represent baroque style with a dose of mannerism. For those who are interested in architecture this is a 'must see' while visiting Valletta. Currently building is the headquarters of the Prime Minister of Malta.

This used to be the "auberge" for the cavaliers. Now it is prime minister's residence. Definitely a landmark not to be missed

It is now the Prime Minister's office, so only opens in very special occasions. Went in one of those and was able to look and photograph inside. Interesting place.

This building dates back to the late 1500s when it housed the Knights of Saint John. Today it houses the Prime Minister's Office. It has a very nice facade, especially the top centerpiece, and the cannons out front.
