Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Super nice venue to watch Cirque Du Soleil Vitori Show - simply stunning and also a nice place for 300+ people to have a team dinner.

Solid friendly service.

We got this guided tour as part of a ticket that we bought for the Malta Experience 3D show, The guide was very informed and managed to keep us interested all the way (including our 13 year old. We visited what used to be the largest and poshest Hospital in medieval times accommodating different classes and top class had en suite bathroom with every bed - You do not see that today in most state run hospitals :). We then visited the most popular theatre in Malta. Today it is used for shows Musical and also hosted all heads of state at the CHOGM. We also visited the underground floors which used to be part of the hospitals as well. In reality you are mainly seeing very large empty halls but the history behind them explained by the guide is impressive and we got it for free anyway with our Malta Experience ticket.

The conference centre includes the Old/Sacred Infirmary. It's difficult to find information online about the Infirmary the tourist information office in Marsaxlokk phoned to confirm closing time and we're told it was 16:30 but it would then close for a month for refurbishment. We nipped over by bus to Valletta and arrived at 15:45. The Infirmary doors were open as was the ticket counter but the man behind the counter stated dismissively they were closed and would reopen Monday (he ignored me when I said we'd been told it closed at 16:30). Disappointing. He could have asked us to be quick and we would have been.

Under the conference centre lies the Holy Infirmary of the Knights of St John.

It takes you to a place and time where amazing good things were done as well as some not so good things. A place of refuge in WWII as well. Being underground the space is limited and passages narrow in places.

The story is well told and presented but like many of Malta's historical sites you need time to read the paragraphs about each item and subject.

Suspect early teenagers may find it fascinating too.

Architecture of this place is pretty great, but what surprised me is the historical significance this place has, as a location in which famous Regan-Gorbachov deal to end the Cold war took place.

Visit this in combination with the Malta Experience. One ticket for both attractions. This is a fantastic example of a 18th century hospital (room for 750 patients on 6 floors, average size of the halls is +100 meters by 14 meters by 11 meters high). Very impressive!!

Was here for a convention. This is simply a beautiful venue. It has old-world charm with modern accoutering. If you are in Valetta you simply must see this place. If you have any interest whatsoever with the Knights Hospitaler this is a must see.

A very good venue for stages events. Lots of small steps down to the stalls. Good cloakroom facilities. In the summer refreshments are available outside the venue from mobile facilities. Parking is a nightmare so get to Valetta early and be prepared to walk unless you use park and ride.
