As you wander about the higgledy piggledy streets, walkways and steps of Valletta you come across impressive stone structures like this. The modern world around you perhaps spoils the historic feel and importance and the cars driving through don’t help but this is well looked...More

This is the entry point to Valletta. A little local dates or other treats outside on the right hand in one of kiosks for 40 cents. It’s local, and I think you should try.

Isn’t going to take more than a glance to appreciate a good bit of architecture. Love the way it sits within the buildings and you can appreciate it from differing levels. Is in a part of town that you have to make an effort to...More

Needs a good clean but impressive architecture all the same. Appropriate reminder of ties with Britain in nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.

We passed through this every day we went nto Valletta town, so eventually it lost it's appeal. This descent into normalness is only to be expected as there is a wealth of other oversized monumental buildings in Malta.

Victoria Gate is another stunning site in Valletta - a city which is truly photogenic! It has been tastefully and lovingly restored, and is well worth a visit.
