This is an impressive palace. It was built between the 1500's and 1700's for the Grand Master of the Knights of St. John and is still functioning today housing the office of the president of Malta. Be sure to tour both the state rooms which...More

Inside, the first floor rooms are of only mild interest andnthe one room you really go for - the tapestry room with the gorgeous famous French tapestries - is so simply lit you cannot see them at all and if this were not bad enough,...More

A 16th Century creation of the famous Maltese architect Gerolamo Cassar, this government building is listed in even the most casual tour guides as one of Valletta’s “must-see” attractions. It is located on Republic Street, the main town artery. Of note, the building is still...More

When we were there some rooms were shut off for workers to do their stuff. There wasn't that much to see, some good art, some not so good and the audio was tedious.

This is right in the centre of Valletta and worth a visit for the exquite floors and painted ceilings, Armoury is small but also worth seeing. Star exhibit are the 16th C tapestries showing animals and people from the Americas.

Nice place in the middle of Valletta. I would recommend to take a audio tap, as no room or corridor is explained/signed.

Only a number of staterooms are open to view but interesting nonetheless. The Armery is very impressive and worth seeing alone

Only a few of the Staterooms were open, but the audio guide made this section very interesting, especially the tapestries in the conference room. There is also the Armoury section, but how many swords, muskets, cannons and helmets can you see and still appreciate ;...More

You buy them next door in the armoury. The ticket admits you to both.
