If you need to see Valletta, then you must do it across from it. You can either take harbor tour or from Fort Angelo in traditional boats called Dghajsa. These trip cost you only 2 euro per person to 8 euro for the harbor tour.

Valletta Waterfront was an amazing view. To see all those buildings and to think how long they have been there. History is such a wondrous thing. To walk the streets that have been walked for so many years is still mind-blowing at times.

The views across the bay are stunning. We were there on a very rainy November afternoon, however still amazing views.

Spectacular port surrounded by fortifications. The best port we visited on our Mediterranean cruise.

Good spot to take amazing pics from the city. Ferry service might be down if the weather is too rough.

We might have been at the wrong times, but this just seemed a line if restaurants and shops designed to snare the travellers off the cruise liners who berth alongside

We stayed in Sliema so we used the ferry to get around quite regularly. I recommend getting the week pass depending on your length of stay. The water itself is relatively clean and not too choppy which makes for great photos day and night.

You could spend a month within a half hour walk of your ship and still have things to see. Valletta is a treasure house of history, culture and expansive views.
