This area has been refurbished by creating shops and restaurants in the old warehouses. It's well worth a visit and a stop for a drink. We went in the daytime and the evening and I think the latter was the best time. A massive cruise...More

The scale and majesty of the fortifications need to be seen to be believed. Whether you visit by land or view them from a harbour boat tour, you will surely be impressed.

Beautiful waterfront, with great views across the harbour. Take a luzzu or ferry across the harbour, or the elevator up to the Barrakka. Near where the cruise liners dock are a few shops, and horse and carriages an easy way to get to the city...More

Nice place to visit....small streets covered with bars, restaurants, shoping, suvenirs, waterfront walkway, beautiful view , historic place, museums, church.....definitely worth to go...walk...not sugested with auto...to crowded!!...to narrow streets...take bus to gate,than walk...wold come again...

You could spend a month within a half hour walk of your ship and still have things to see. Valletta is a treasure house of history, culture and expansive views.

Hi yes they are largely open in the main tourist areas even on major religious holidays like Easter Sunday.
