Definitely worth checking out. Entry is 20€ for the Armoury and state halls which are both quite interesting.

If you read up on the the Great Siege of Malta you will find the Armory fascinating. All the medieval knight weaponry, shields and armor are on full display.

This museum is quite small but the armour especially is quite fascinating. It is so ornate but must have been horrible to wear!! The swords were quite horrific. The guns looked so heavy. Being a fighter was certainly not much fun.

Usually I don't enjoy or look at armor. The displays were thoughtfully set up with stories of the knights. Also, the armor was in beautiful condition with many different varieties.

Very nice museum to visit. Lots of armor, cannons and weapons from the Knights of Malta era and it's very accessible.

A very large array of weapons and armour of ancient times of various countries giving some idea how armies were protected and expected to perform their fighting duties.
