You can take bus 2 from Valetta to 3 cities. We only went to Senglea and Victoriosa, was told the other one is residential. Senglea water front is very nice with lots of yachts. There’s a pedestrian bridge connects 2 cities. Victoriosa’s back streets earned...More

Went on a vintage bus trip which took us round the three cities. The real malta. We stopped off in Vittoriosa in the square and went for a coffee (cafe with the blue door!). Really friendly place. Square is very pretty.

The short ferry ride is very pleasant. Vittorioso is very appealing and it`s great to just stroll through the tiny back streets, Unfortunately, there are some inconsiderate dog owners here, so watch your step! Senglea is a more down-to-earth place, but still interesting.

We were lucky to be able to see this from the sea with a small boat ride in which our guide explained what the buildings were, how and when they were built and what they were used for now. This is a great way to...More

Come here for a half day and explore these three unique "Cities" across from Valletta. I highly recommend the "Rolling Geeks" tour which can be found a few hundred feet away from where the ferry docks.

The Three Cities is a great place to include on your trip to Malta. You can see the history, and almost feel what it must have been like to know that every ship entering the harbour could be your enemy,

For an short trip ton Vittoriosa you can use the harbour ferry just besides the cruise ship termin at the foot point of the lift from the harbour to the old town.

If in Valetta take the regular ferry service across the bay. Leave the packed streets of the city for the quieter, yet equally interesting streets of these three small cities. Very pleasant.

I previously said it was 2 euros, but I wasn’t sure. Other people have answered 4 euros. So, most likely it was 4 euros.

Friends of mine, a family of four, paid 20 euros each way for a little gondola that leaves from next to the ferry.
