My wife and I were so pleased to include Casa Bernard on our recent visit to Malta. Not only is the house warm, inviting and full of art, antiques and other collectables, but it is an exquisite and atmospheric family home. We were shown around...More

Thank you, Kenneth, for this compliment. We really appreciate it.This feedback is very inspiring as we feel that our tours satisfy tourists who are all out for some cultural experience in a 16th century Maltese Palazzo, getting some notions about the local way of life and...More

We toured Casa Bernard -- a 16th century palazzo -- by chance during a visit to nearby Mdina, and it's a must see for both the home (started in the 1300s over Roman ruins, with additions in the 1500s and 1700s), as well as for...More

If you like art, antiques and architecture, then Casa Bernard is a definite must see if you’re visiting Mdina. Casa Bernard was one of our favorite house tours that we visited during our six-week stay in Malta and Sicily. It’s a short and easy walk...More

I tried to come to Casa Bernard for one of its hourly tours. Three times I arrived during the day and every time it was closed in spite of what it said on the sign.More

An absolute highlight of our malta trip. The tour by the owner was marvellous, very interesting. I'm normally bored silly when made to visit historic house but not this one ! Went as a time filler but was a top star attraction.

I cannot speak highly enough of this fantastic little house which, since 1992, has been open to the public. Upon arrival you ring the doorbell and wait for someone to come downstairs to assist you. While waiting, a pair of British locals passed by, the...More

Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. She was a retired school teacher. The owner of the house, George, was also there as well. He is apparently quite a collector. He manages to blend antique furniture of different eras and styles gracefully together. The art work,...More
