There are 2 sections. One is a lawn that is in the bottom of a moat.The other is before you cross the bridge. Here there is shade and a place to sit.

Relandscaped a few years ago, this is pretty much just a grassy area with a few small trees separating the area between the walls of the city from the area beyond. Nothing special. You can look down on it from outside the city.

Although this is a memorial type garden it is really just pretty grass with some statues. The site is made more impressive as you look up at the old city walls

Howard Gardens is a historic place in Mdina and another to take pictures. Scenes from the films "games for the throne" were shot there.

Great idea to turn a former water canal that was meant for protection into a garden. Some parts of it have parking.
