Went on a rainy day and it was fine, good thing to have in reserve on your trip. They do horse and cart rides for 35EUR around the city. It's only about half an hour long but it's fun on its own. The church is worth a visit as is the museum, 5EUR a ticket for both. Great views!

Very nice visit... 2 hours are enough... you can take the bus from La Valette to Mdina for max 3€ or 20€ by taxi.

It is a beautiful town, very quiet and full of history and lovely buildings. It has also very narrow streets which offer shadow and comfort on a sunny day. In the evening the place has a splendid atmosphere and is nicely lit.

Possibly one of the most beautiful cities on earth. The view from the walls is awesome. It's really small you can walk around it in probably an hour but my son and I spent about half a day there looking at various attractions. We went in April, it was warm but not massively busy. This was our last day in... More

This is a beautiful walled city with lots of history and character. Quaint little shops too. Gets very busy in summer. A must visit for anyone visiting malta

Wow what a city. Well preserved and a fantastic insight into how Malta looked at that time. There are numerous horse rides that will take you around the city but we walked and managed to see most of the sights within 2 hours. Will most definitely return here if we come back to Malta.

Maltese people are friendly. Suggested to take us short & quick trip from Bombi to Mdina via bus no 51 or 53 (cant remember now) rather than going to Valletta. Got down at Rabat stop. Walked through garden and enjoyed scenic views. Got down the steps & entered via Greek gate. Strolled through streets. Beware residents do live there. So... More

Simply a beautiful place to visit. Mdina strikes you with authentic architecture same time resembling middle east and gothic styles.

Indeed the view was awesome but once we got there we had a feeling of loneliness. It's suitable for architecture aficionados, but honestly we weren't made for it. At some point we were lost and end up in a dirty suburb.
