Great spot for all the family. Safe and has sunbed and parasol service. Nice small beach restaurant and bar plus ice cream van.

Famous red sand with stunning view all over. Cave above, flat sea bed with easy access for kids but also partly with stones. The biggest beach in Gozo.

Lovely beach with fine red sand on Gozo and really clear nice water. To the far end of the beach it is possible to do some nice snorkling.

Enjoyed our time at this beach. Lounger chairs and quality umbrellas for hire which cost €15 to hire in total. The beach lads carried and erected them as well. Beach was clean with bins for litter. Roped off area for swimming etc. Sand had a...More

The bay is nice and cool. It is neither small nor big. The beach is sandy which is a great feature. You can enjoy swimming there between the hills. There are public showers, toilets and you have a restaurant/coffee-shop there too.

We were here on a Sunday and it was quite a small, busy stretch of beach full of screaming children. If you're not out with children and prefer somewhere quieter then this is perhaps not the place!

It's one of the few sandy beaches on Gozo and one of the largest so even though it was busy, it didn't feel too crowded. If you head to the left as you come onto the beach the water is not so rocky and much...More

Fantastic day out on the beach. Lovely warm sand with cold sea water. Lots of official parking space and good restaurant. All in all day well spent on the beach in the sun.

Visited in late May - not too crowded, warm enough to sunbathe, but not really warm enough to swim (we're from the states). Gorgeous sand and water though!

Is it true that the rocks in the water near where you first enter are actually a part of a wall that was once set in the sea to stop the enemy from entering with their boats? I heard this once and wondered if it is true.

I have not heard of the wall ... Ramla Bay is located at the bottom of a rich and fertile valley on the northern side of the island of Gozo. The village of Xagħra, located on one of the hills of Gozo The beach is quite wide... More
