Its nothing spectular as beaches go. Mostly sandy, clean, there seemed to be plenty parking. There were toilets and a showering area, and a snack bar that was shut whilst we were there. There were some picnic benches at the main 'entrance' area to the beach and the mandator stray cat who came and begged for scraps. We walked up... More

Stopped by for a walk today and what a stunning beach, even in winter! The sand is a rich red colour and it was great ti have the place to ourselves.

They say it's pink beach, but I'm not quite agree with that. But it still beautiful with golden color. Nice view in the morning time.

Just idyllic! Clean, well catered for and ideal for a few hour's getaway with family/friends or just on your own.

Apparently not just Gozo's but Malta's best beach, this is a wide swathe of red sand. It can get incredibly crowded though if you walk far enough to either end you'd probably be able to find a peaceful spot. The cafés were open when we visited on a Tuesday in early November. Of interest is the dark shape of the... More

This is the only big beach on Gozo, so can get very busy in Summer - get there early, go by bus, or be prepared for a walk! Unless there has been a recent storm, the sea is beautifully clear and shallow for quite a way out - perfect for children. A snorkel allows you to visit the ancient underwater... More

A sizeable beach (with cafe) makes a nice place for a swim. Lovely red sand. Probably very busy in the summer though

We went to Ramla bay as it was one of the best places to visit on tripadvisor in Gozo and we were not disappointed! This place is fantastic. It took around 1 hour to walk to from Victoria (There is also local bus or hop on/off bus that visits here). The beach itself has dark golden/orange sand, the water gives... More
