This stunning Cathedral stand out as one of the many beautiful architectural wonders on the Island. The Cathedral is located just west of Victoria , near the village of Gharb..with ....lots of parking..a rarity on Gozo.

What a lovely church. Set in the country on Gozo. The decoration is so ornate. A wonderful spiritual place to visit.

This basilica is popular for votives. The basilica itself, though relatively modern, is well-deigned and there is an attractive (to me) austerity that is characteristic of, for example, certain Templar churches, than the accretion of decoration that seems common in old, large basilicas and cathedrals....More

Visited the church today on a tour. The inside is very nice. All of the testimonials are very nice. Stop by the mosaics outside the church.

Incredible church in the middle of nowhere, proof of what devotion can accomplish. Votive artefacts at the back of the church are a bit creepy, touching though. Easily reached by regular bus lines.
