Took a boat ride around Comino with a 2 hr sunbathing break. Should have thought it through although to be fair we had a 3 day delay due to high winds.. It was heaving with humanity! Turned right and kept walking over rough terrain (Dear...More

Not for the faint hearted this place is very slippery and I would be very care. Sea view ferrys dropped me of here and I went for a wail along the top of the gradient only to find that losing your footing is highly likely...More

The place is just amazing: the water was still, protected by the Comino island and smaller rocks with beautiful shapes and caves around; its colour was an intense light blue, becoming darker blue where the water gets deep. It is mostly shallow and in some...More

Yes it’s touristy and can be packed but it’s a must see. The water in the lagoon is the most amazing shade of blue.

As loud, crowded, filthy and disgusting as a beach can get. Such a shame this natural beauty has been destroyed by human invasion. If you have any point of reference of what a pleasant swimming experience is, just forget about the Blue Lagoon, at least...More

The lagoon is beautiful with amazingly clear water but is completely ruined by the thousands of tourists in a tiny space. Food trucks blasting music made me feel like we were in Magaluf not on a peaceful remote island. Ferry was horrifically overcrowded with about...More

Absolutely stunning. Not hard to understand why it’s a tourist hot spot. Went to Gozo first, then Comino which was a good choice. Found the crowds thinned in the afternoon and was quieter for a nice swim and relax. Rocky in parts so wear some...More

I have to say, that the water is beautiful, absolutely beautiful blue, but the people! Overcrowded! Totally overcrowded. There was absolutely no space where we could sit, no place where we could put our things. That beauty loses everything with so many people. It is...More

This is the most terrible tourist trap we have ever been!! The island is amazing and the water is beautifully blue. But there are thousands of people on a very small place which will destroy the island. Loud music from food trucks kills the atmosphere......More

I think it’s possible to hire a boat privately and stay there till later in the evening or it might be worth seeing if you can stay overnight in the hotel near Blue Lagoon.
