The waters are nice, the scenery picturesque and by Malta standards it's special. Having said that there are lots of comparable beaches around the med and this doesn't really stand out. The crowds are excessive and the plethora of burger vans within a few metres of the beach removes any romance. It's worth a short trip but I wouldn't go... More

We went early morning to the lagoon by ferry. Planning to hike the island a bit we started going east along the coast. It's a real nice peaceful and quit little island. Stunning views if you go to the right spots. Also if you like to climb some of the rocks beside the island are within reach. Downside, rather big... More

The title says it... the beach and the waters and breathtakingly beautiful. Absolutely a must see. On the other hand... everybody thinks of it as a must-see and the limited beach space is very over crowded We walked a distance away from the beaches to get better photos and more peace. Our advice: take an early ferry across, and plan... More

The blue lagoon is lovely, the only thing that spoils it is us tourists. I visited in March and there was no room on the beach to sunbath- I would hate to see what it is like in summer. If I was here in summer I would take a waterproof bag and swim over to the other side of the... More

I got the the boat over to Comino to see the Blue Lagoon and it didnt disappoint. Despite only being able to stay a few hours as the last ferry was back at 3.30pm (I visited March 2017), I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The driver of the boat to the Blue Lagoon clearly though he was James Bond or Xander Cage... More

You need to get the first ferry over to Comino as you really wont have much time to do everything before it is time to leave again.. Also when you are there remember that there are no shops / cafes and little shade so you will need to bring ( and take home) everything you need for the day.. The... More

Comino is a beautiful island between Malta and Gozo. The waters are the bluest I've seen and the cliffs are absolutely spectacular. Arrive by ferry from Cirkewwa; it's 15 euros for a round trip. Wonderful views from the beach where you arrive. Walk leisurely around the island to the beautiful Blue Lagoon and up along the cliff tops where you... More

Located between Malta and Gozo with only 3.5 square kms and 4 inhabitants, Comino is the perfect spot in summer for snorkelers, divers, windsurfers and ramblers. Blue Lagoon, with its crystal clear blue waters is very popular for day boat trips especially in summer. In winter, and (February) that we visited seems to be the home of hikers and photographers.

Had a blast at comino today. There is much more to explore than only blue lagoon. Had a great walk around, encountered some stunning views and had a little swim at st maria's bay. Well worth the visit, even in February!
