We moved to Altona 4 years ago and live walking distance to the beach. There's a nice pier but nobody catches any fish there but the beach has nice sand and it's week located near to cafes. Highly recommended
We love Altona Beach the shops are a minute walk away there are lifeguards patrolling the beach. Rest rooms and a fabulous park with lots of shade and play equipment. Loads to do and plenty of cheap eats only 1 minute walk from the beach...More
Beautiful clean beach, bike tracks, dog beach and walking trails. Not forgetting the shopping strip right at the beach and the varied range of cafes and restaurants. You cannot visit Altona without a visit to Hangar 1one2. Best coffee and food in town.
