For everyone interested in mountain climbing history it is must see place. House of one of the most famous Svan climber offers exhibition of climbing stuff of mid of XX century, old Svan house, picture gallery. Must visit place in Mestia

The house meseum of the best and worldwide known Georgian alpinist. Some interesting artifacts were presented but could be even more.

Really loved this house-museum full with the belongings, pictures and maps of this famous climber. The museum keeper was very pleasant man, who told us svaneti tradition of housekeeping, the biography of Mikhail and was very friendly to us. Definitely recommend!
