Stunning, just stunning. The walk is sorrounded by the beautiful countryside. Birds chirpping, rabbits hopping and fish breaking the flow of the River Tweed. What's not to like, love this place, again i must reiterate....stunning.

I parked at the coop in Innerleithen and found my way to the old railway path. As others have said it is a tarmac surface along it's entire length and an easy stroll on gentle gradients. At Cardrona the path follows quite streets through a...More

We traveled anti-clockwise from Peebles through Hay Lodge Park. Following the path alongside the River Tweed below Neidpath Castle. It’s a comfortable walk with a few minor climbs and in some parts the path becomes a single track. The reassuring sound of the rivers provides...More

We only walked a short part of the Tweed Way and it was good, a tarred walkway with no steep gradients and good views of the Golf Course and river. would have liked to walk all the way to Peebles (about 3 ml) but the...More

We walked from Peebles to Glentress and the walk was beautiful. A lovely little path along the River Tweed, through a field, there are some slightly steep steps to the road (I would not recommend that part of the walk to people with mobility difficulties),...More

Lovely 5 mile walk on an easy, flat, tarmaced path. Watch out for cyclists and golfers in buggies as you go past the golf course.

This is a lovely walk alongside the beautiful river Tweed. We even saw a red squirrel this morning. Very peaceful!

Live beside the path and use it most days on my bike, seemingly going to be extended to Walkerburn, great.

Walked this pathway from Cardrona to Peebles town centre. The condition of the paths was excellent and well kept. There are clear signs along the way with the odd bench or two if you need to rest. The walk took us about 40mins.

We walked from Peebles to Innerleithen.. The path is flat and very easy to follow being well sign posted. It is surrounded by great scenery and wildlife. (The highlight was a Stoat near Cardrona and more birds than you can count). You can walk the...More

This is still a lovely walk -------but there are lots (in fact the majority) of cyclists who stubbornly refuse to alert walkers of their approach! This is very inconsiderate and potentially very dangerous! What is so difficult about either shouting a warning or,even better, sounding a...More

I totally agree! It was very bad forward planning not to make it wide enough to separate cyclists and walkers. I believe there have been a few near misses since the path opened. It would be alright if ALL cyclists had the... More
