We walked from Peebles to Innerleithen.. The path is flat and very easy to follow being well sign posted. It is surrounded by great scenery and wildlife. (The highlight was a Stoat near Cardrona and more birds than you can count). You can walk the...More

This is still a lovely walk -------but there are lots (in fact the majority) of cyclists who stubbornly refuse to alert walkers of their approach! This is very inconsiderate and potentially very dangerous! What is so difficult about either shouting a warning or,even better, sounding a...More

This is a clearly marked route along the old railway line that is mainly hard-surfaced. It is fairly good . It was recently opened in 5 years ago and has a newly built bridge at Cardrona , where the old railway bridge has been removed...More

A great walk along the old railway path, or cycle. Lovely scenery. Take the bus from Peebles to Innerleithen and walk back, stopping at Nashys cafe for delicious refreshment.

Beautiful walking/cycling path that's really popular. Fair amount of rubbish along the sides at times but that's down to thoughtless people not clearing up after themselves.

Stunning walks and scenery.....not too strenuous. Come prepared for all weathers and don't be too put off by a little rain.

Stunning, just stunning. The walk is sorrounded by the beautiful countryside. Birds chirpping, rabbits hopping and fish breaking the flow of the River Tweed. What's not to like, love this place, again i must reiterate....stunning.

This lovely path passes by our house in Glentress and it is one of the loveliest walks by a river that you can get. Being kept well away from all roads (as much as possible) the walk affords you to the tranquillity of the Tweed...More

I totally agree! It was very bad forward planning not to make it wide enough to separate cyclists and walkers. I believe there have been a few near misses since the path opened. It would be alright if ALL cyclists had the... More
