Take the 221. It is asphalt so no need for a 4wd. I used Google maps to get there. Enjoy.

Yes, you can definitely access it even if you don't have a 4wd. It is super easy. You park by a small building/barrack and walk as far as the trail allows you. You need to stop at the point which informs you it is no longer... More

We walked alone, but did not do the whole glacier as we had four children below 16 in the group. We walked till the mouth of the glacier and about 200 meters up,
