We stayed in a hotel on the harbor and on the day our tour was cancelled we decided to go there. It is a bit of a walk if you live further in town but there are other things you can do on the walk...More

First saw this while walking to the Harpa through the rain and could not tell what it was. It is unusual, unique and curious. A spherical walking path runs up the rounded slope with and interesting "top" adds to the curiousness of this sculpture. Worth...More

'Thufa' is a recent semi-spherical man-made mount about ten meters high, with well trimmed grass and a narrow path winding around the mount allowing you to walk to the top. On the top is a wooden structure enclosing some dried fish heads. Not quite sure...More

We had seen this mound from the hotel and asked about it, but nobody could really tell us what it was. We had to resort to the Internet where there seems to be more information on it than in town. It's actually a work of...More

We took a handful of wrong turns to get here but eventually found it. It's a neat site, fun to look around and see the city from a different view. It would be nice to have a little plaque describing the sites historic value.
