History was made at the Hofdi House, so if nothing else have a photo taken on the steps outside! Fascinating place.

Most people aren't aware, but this place being the spot where the Cold War ended is of great historic significance. Also, before that, the history on how the house was built, disassembled, shipped and assembled once more is very interesting. A must-see of Reykjavik.

It's worth seeing if you know or are told the history. It's also a scenic place with the city in the background. There is statuary and a piece of the Berlin wall also at this stop.

Nice building but nothing else to see tbh. Just remember history and it’s importance and you can see it perfectly from the hop on bus tour

The house where Reagan an Gorbachev met to discuss the Cold War. Because of the historical significance, it is worth the visit.

The only relevant thing about this place is that it was the meeting place for both presidents Reagan and Gorbachev back in 1986 to work an a peace deal to stop the cold war. You cannot get into the building and it just sits there...More

There was a photo of Gorbachev and Regan on the steps of Hofdi House in Hamborgarafabrikkan restaurant nearby which inspired us to visit. It's just a building - you can't go inside, but it was near our hotel so worth a look.
