It was in a sad state of affairs. It needed so much TLC. There were so much poop EVERYWHERE. Cafe closed early. For Iceland, it was a sunny and warm day walking around.

I gave it five stars because there was nothing negative in the event. The gardens are beautiful and the entire place is immaculate. I found the most interesting part to be the flora that is in the rock garden. After seeing these things while out...More

The garden is free, which can mean a lot. It is large, so if you need some green space, this is a good place to go. But there are not as many flowers as I expected, especially with it being the summer. The greenhouse has...More

Right next to the little zoo and has a cafe. Its not too large but the lauout makes it seem so much bigger. The gardens are amazing and the park is really pretty.

Nothing to really see this time of year, but it must be magnificent when things are in bloom. Grounds look to be well managed especially off season. Would be worth a visit-in season.

I visited this place to experience the Thermal phenomena. I would imagine that this is a lovely place to visit in the Summer but the blanket of snow, everywhere, gave it a lovely scene. Although the original use for this spa is now closed there...More

We stopped here on our long walk from the city back to our cruise ship berthed at the port. Probably not conveniently placed for most tourists. The gardens are well kept and have an impressive array of plants. There is a cafe and toilets.

The people who run this place should be proud. This is a truly exceptional botanical garden and a great place to explore. It is also completely free. I wouldn't travel far out of my way just for it, but it is a few minute's pleasant...More

I rented a car for around $500. Best decision I ever made especially for taxi and bus prices.
