I was in the March workshop with Tony and Owen and it was an unforgettable experience. The workshop was very well planned and we got to see many different amazing landscapes in 5 days despite some unfavourable weather condition. Tony was very willing to share his photography knowledge to teach you how to see and compose a scene, and even... More

Dear Traveller My husband and I were fortunate to have taken a day tour to the Snaefellsness peninsula with Iceland Aurora and to have met a wonderful human being / tour guide, Bragi (pronounced with a silent "g" by the way). Bragi's calm, relaxed and humble attitude made the tour an absolute pleasure. It was the perfect mix of stunning... More

Excellent tour with Thor and Maggie. Thor is the absolute man and has so much knowledge regarding the Northern Lights and all of Iceland actually. Such a pleasant and wonderful experience. One of the best 2 day tours I've ever had. Maggie is very sweet and very smart... Wonderful duo and one of the best tours I've ever enjoyed. Casey

My partner and I just finished a 5 day tour of South East Iceland with Iceland Aurora Tours led by Tony and Olgeir. We had a wonderful time notwithstanding that it snowed for 3 days out of the 5 to the extent that on one day the roads were closed. Our guides packed in as much as possible into the... More

Yesterday we took the Snaefellsness Peninsula Tour with Olgeir. Even though it rained most of the day, it far surpassed our expectations. We had a wonderful time taking photos of the western side of Iceland. Olgeir helped us with taking the best shots at each of the locations we visited. In addition to the scenery, he also is knowledgeable about... More

Booked through Iceland Aurora Photo Tours. Was not transparent that they acted as a booking agent for second party photo tour guides so we did not tour with Tony Prower, only did the initial scheduling and payment. We were left with the impression guides were on his staff which they are not, they have their own businesses.. Also while there... More

Thank you for your review which touches on a couple of important points. Although your review is mostly a critisism of my business structure, the most important aspect is the claim that one of your guides was more interested in his own photos. This is serious. This doesn't sound like one of our guides and I need to look into... More

We just came back from a 3-day tour I and my wife spent three days with Tony. We really enjoyed our time, even though the weather was not cooperating. Tony is a great photographer and we learned a lot from him. He took us to beautiful places that were the best spots for taking pictures and gave a lot of... More

What are your favorite subjects to photograph? Landscape, wild life, people, macro, animals, celestial features, decay? You can find them all in Iceland. After seeing photos of the waterfalls in Iceland and the Iceland exhibit at the Smithsonian Natural History, we decided to stop in Iceland on our way to Hungary. There are several advantages to this route- a shorter... More

When we decided to make our yearly vacation Iceland, we knew, without a doubt, that we wanted to hire Olgeir to help us take the most amazing pictures. We originally hired him for 1 day but that shortly changed and we knew we had to have him for 2 more days. We spent 3 spectacular days with the most amazing... More
