This unique part of the highlands is one of Iceland’s most awe-inspiring places. Among its main characteristics are the colourful rhyolite mountains with their varying textures, shapes and sizes, and the wonderful natural hot springs, perfect for soaking in after a day of hiking.

Pleasant day first on the road stopping at several checkpoints to take photos, then to Landmannalaugar to have a little walk around mountains. Pickup is near people's accomodation and the drop off was where we wished, perfect.
