Very professional tour operator. Very punctual.
Also if you are unlike (like me) who wasn't able to see light, they offer you service coupons that you can redeem anytime during the same year for another northern light tour.
This can be a long night but it’s absolutely worth it! The small cabin offers decent hot drinks and some shelter from the cold. It is VERY cold and windy so dress up super warm!
We got lucky with an amazing show too!
We were collected when planned and set off on a drive having to swap onto a larger bus. On the journey the guide was informative and spoke clearly and held interest. He told us we were likely to not see them but that we could...More
I'd been to Iceland before and had booked a small group/minibus tour to see the lights, and while we had barely seen anything, the guides kept driving to different spots, hunting for us so we could see the lights. With this tour (which we booked...More
Guide, Darren, knowledgeable and friendly. Not just someone who does his job. He actually took the time to make conversation. Hopefully if we do the Golden Circle tour on Tuesday he can be our guide. We got a 9 out of 10 on the Northern...More
The service itself was really good - the bus was comfortable, the tour guide was very informative (on both attempts to see the lights) and the price was certainly acceptable. The bus was left accessible during the stop so that you could have a break...More

My review is not a reflection on Reykjavik Excursions - they were very professional and everything about the tour was well organised etc. Looking back I wouldn't book a tour to try and see the lights again - I just wasn't too bothered whether we'd...More
I would most definitely recommend this trip it was amazing. It was something I wanted to do for the longest time and can finally tick it off my bucket list. Although I couldn’t see the northern lights clearly with the naked eye. I could see...More

Hi, it’s a night tour and they start grabbing people around 8-9pm depends on the capacity of people booked. Because the ride takes about 45mins bus ride then all depends on the season of the lights how long you will stay out on tour before returning back to where you was picked up. Expect to be out on tour 4hrs minimum, enjoy!
