We went with this company because they offer small group tours. There were six people on our zodiac boat plus Erik, the pilot. The entire tour was fantastic. Erik skillfully piloted the boat as close to the glacier as safely possible. We were able to...More

The Zodiac Tour on Jokulsarlon Lagoon was one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland. The tour takes you out on the lagoon, far away from the somewhat crowded shore, and lets you get near the icebergs. If you are lucky you will see...More

It is possible that the camera could get wet as the boat travels quickly. But if you are sensible and only take photographs when the boat is stationary or travelling slowly there should be no problem.

You can book a boat ride from the 15th May onward but only if it's on the Amphibian which doesn't get so close to the glacier. The Zodiac tours start on 1June but you have all the info if you go to the site of the icelagoon.
