Too many tourists, overflowing and poorly organized by those who try to attract trawellers to these places they do not get 2 points, tourists are actually ruining very delicate surroundings and still we do not dislike them but this overflow is not good for this Icelandic landscapes even when there are that many coming to these attractions you personally will... Topline: They didn't respond to emails or phone calls. They charged my credit card for booking my ice fishing trip. They did not let me know that they had canceled all ice fishing trips for the month of February until I called them while we were waiting at the meeting point for the trip. Feb 12 - I booked the... We booked for the Game of Thrones Tour whilst in Akureyri for 3 days. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed not just her GoT stories but also her own personal stories about Iceland in general. The places of interest included in this tour was just absolutely stunning. This tour will show you why Iceland is literally the... More

Thank you travelling Viking! I took part in the GOT tour and northern lights tour. The GOT tour was informative, lots of lovely viewpoints. I enjoyed hearing about other movies and series which were filmed in the area. The stop off at the thermal pool was a dream true! The day was made extra special by my boyfriend proposing on... More

Jon was the best guide ever! He shared so much knowledge about the filming of game of thrones in iceland. We visited the sites where they filmed Jon first meeting Mance Rayder, Sam running through a blizzard and being grabbed by a whitewalker, the cave where Jon Snow breaks his oath with Ingrig and many more! We even got to... More

This was a great all day tour from Akureyri. Lilji relayed many esoteric nuggets of information that we wouldn't have gotten on our own. Such as her father blowing up a waterfall during the coldest winter, and what constitutes a forest in Iceland. Although our tour was combined with a game of thrones tour to keep the numbers up, it... We arrived in Akureyri just as the first storm of the year did. There was significant snowfall the night before our Lake Myvatn Tour and we were concerned that the tour would not go. It did, however, even though there were only two of us and we had not paid for a private tour. Our guide was Lily and she... More

Christian was an amazing tour guide. He took us on the Game of Thrones tour but really it was an all encompassing Icelandic extravaganza. The nature, the culture, the food, and the film history was fascinating and thorough. We learned so much, saw familiar scenes and locations and had one of the best lunches of our trip (The Cow Shed... More
