Plan on bringing a chair and bottle of wine and sit along the blue ice of the glacier as the sun sets and lights the area with an ethereal blue glow. Don't miss it!

The place offers a lot of hikes and nice views on glaciers, falls, mountains but happen to be crowded during the day. The trail towards the glacier has now a limited interest as the ice has melt down and there is a little lake in...More

Glacier, icebergs with many different colour combinations. Drink in the beauty of this area. Iceland is so unique. Mother nature certainly painted this country in many different hues and this place is surreal. Just loved the peace and tranquility here.

Iceland's natural wonders never cease to amaze!!! My first time seeing a real glacier. Magnificent! Truly blessed! This glacier is about 89000 square feet. A sight to behold!

Iceland is an amazing country, but some of the sights will stay with you forever. This is one of them. This is one of the best places to see amazing glacial formations without venturing too close to either pole.
