Our Saga Travel tour guide stopped our group here for hot drinks, food, and relaxation. This was in September, on our way back to Lake Myvatn after our 12-hour day trip to the Askja Caldera. Stopped here for coffee and sweet cakes on the way to largest glacier in Iceland, Vatnajokull. Interesting site with very friendly staff.

I have been on this place every year now over several years and it is always some thing nes I see there some times is fantastic scenery to south to Vatnajokull (water glacier) and to the queen of the Icelandic mountain,or you can go to mystery scenery with fog,but on the restaurant on this place you are not going hungry... More
