This is a museum that have exhibition about the history of Vaasa and the animallife and also a nice movie about the area. They also have differnt exhibition with very different content. It does not look impressive but you will be surprised.

This museum has a geographical overview of the history of the characteristic features of the area, if that is in your interest this is worth a visit. Also cool coin collection, and a display of the controversial "wolf cave" site as well.

We thought it was worth the fee of 7 euro per adult. The basement is like a natural sciences museum, great for kids. The ground floor is filled with historic items and focuses on the history of Vaasa. Plenty to see on those two floors...More
