We enjoyed the Archipelago trail or at least the parts we did. We stayed at a great B&B in Nagu (Vastergard) and took day trips. Very impressed with the ferry system- runs frequently and is free! And we happened upon a Sunday concert when we...More

It was a pleasant walk and there was a beautiful view. It was interesting as there was also the barbecue area for us to use.

Fantastic opportunity to see real rural life , going from one small island to another via excellent roads, small municipal feriies, and roads again. Each small town welcomes you with local tasty fish, berries, pastries and dairy products, atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, roads are...More

Ok, so look beyond the locals in their Robocop technical jogging gear all running around like clones from a cheesy 80s moive. THIS is such an uplifting trail! not because of any hill climbs (they're aren't any) but because its simply so peaceful and relaxing...More

The most beautiful parts of the Arcipelago lie between Turku and Mariehamn. There is a variety of cabins and couple of small hotels you can book on the way. The ferries take you from an island to another, but make sure you know the route...More

We (couple with a baby) just finished the archipelago trail by bike. Beautiful islands! A few recommendations for others: - Take time to stay 2 nights somewhere, then you have more time to explore the coastline of the islands. The track is crossing often in...More
