A great museum to take the kids or grandchildren. Exhibits make an effort to make it exciting and educational for children. It can get a bit rowdy when there are a lot of kids around but an interesting place to visit.

This little underground museum showed us relevant and interesting parts of local history. The story of Matti was fun to follow and we also enjoyed the interactive parts. The art part was poor and felt very unrelated.

This museum is something for everyone. If you are interested of archeology or stories of living in historic Turku or art. There is interesting things to see and try for children and adults alike.

Three main floors. Nice cafe, terrace and museum shop in airy lobby area. Interesting underground cellars with medieval and old Turku city history theme. I recommend to visit. Tasty brunch during weekends at 11-15 o'clock.

We saw the underground excavations - quite interesting to see the original houses and the development since.

Was very interesting to see the relics of the past here. The homes as they existed 100s of years ago was insightful. Also learned how many times this town burned to the ground before they started building with stone instead of wood.

I love museums and art. But you will not miss anything if you miss this experience here. The rest of Europe has much better art collection.
