The beach has places to swim, a sauna, and a sandy beach to play on, but the best part for me was how gorgeous it was! There is a forested area where you can sit, or if you prefer there are benches. The sunset is...More

Rauhaniemi is such a beautiful place. I made it a visit in both January and February and it’s definitely not the last time! There is a little grill at the place so it’s possible to bring your own sausages to grill.

Stayed in Tampere for 3.5 years. Got to see norther lights from rauhaniemi beach. Its not often that you can see clear northern lights from tampere but seeing it for the first time was just fantastic! Good place and great atmosphere!
