Visited during high season when all the flowers were in bloom. Lots of people so it was difficult to move, but the flora was amazing! Despite the traffic I would recommend visiting, although check that the flowers are blossoming at that time.

The Rhododendron park in Haaga is definitely a place to go. It's just magical when blossoming. The Forrest is full of colourful rhododendrons and azaleas usually on midsummer. Strongly recommend.

Worth visiting if you are in Helsinki in mid June! Blossom that you can't imagine in the middle on woods. Take your time, walk around, meditate, take pictures - as you wish. Just go there to enjoy!

I haven't been there myself in August, but friends have told me there aren't many flowers left even now (mid-July).
