Well worth a visit, we did so on the morning of our departure, spent about 2.5 hours, in there, didn't realise so much of our everyday item were designed originally in Finland. Well worth the money, not that far from the central railway station.

The most interest aspect of this museum is the permanent collection/history/display of Finnish design on the main floor. We learned a lot about the development of Finnish designs (which we love). Bonus: the cafe serves everything on iittala products - plates, glasses, cuos, cutlery -...More

A small museum with interesting exhibits. Learned a lot about Finnish design and famous designers from Finland. Its not a hugely interactive museum, but the exhibits were well put together and produced. I'd say it's worth a few hours of your time for 10 euros.

This is such an interesting, inspiring place. The exhibits change around a bit on the second floor so find out what they're doing to make sure you're interested. We loved it. They have a great little restaurant to get coffee and lunch at too.

All you need to know to understand design evolution in Finland. Simple, informative and pretty. The museum shows finnish pride on the country and people achievements, and gives understanding to their culture.

We were expecting a larger collection with more interesting commentary. Finnish design is recognized and admired around the world, but there just wasn't much of a story here. We were underwhelmed by the exhibits and the limited documentation. Okay for a short visit, but expensive...More

The Finns have designed so many great things that we didn't know came from Finland. That's why this museum is interesting and worth a visit.
